As previously mentioned, I am so very excited to share these images of sweet and adorable husband and wife Steven and Lucy (of Lucy Parker Photography).  They are ridiculously pretty and were super easy to shoot.  It's always a lot of fun to shoot already married couples just for the heck of it.  

Steven gets extra points in my book, as he wore that gray cardigan in terrible heat and humidity AND he spun Lucy around in a circle more times than I can count....until he was sick.  Good work, Steven.  :)

Nancy and Will | Married

Oh, how blessed are we to be able to call these two - Nancy and Will - friends of ours.  :)  Not only are they really great photographers (check out their work HERE), but truly...they are just really good people.  I hate that we live here and they live in Raleigh - if only we lived in the same city so we could hang out regularly!  

When Nancy proposed the idea of a photo swap between the four of us, I was all about it.  We came up to Raleigh a day early before a wedding that we shot there and spent a little time with this adorable couple.  It actually ended up being perfect timing for the shoot, as Nancy and Will were just about to celebrate 3 years of marriage together.  :)

We started things out with their pup (their STILL not full grown pup) - Winston - the Great Dane. :)

Kristina and Hunter | Married

Kristina and Hunter are already married, but wanted some updated pictures of the two of them.  As I've mentioned on the blog before, I absolutely LOVE shooting these types of sessions for the married folk.  :)  And boy, were they easy to shoot!  Not to mention that we had some pretty insane light to work with.  

Thanks so much, you two - I really enjoyed getting to hang out for a bit!

Stephen is a pilot.  Sarah is a Charlotte wedding and event planner (check out her business site - Lilac & Ivy).  They have been married for a quite a few years already, but wanted to have some pictures of the two of them together.

Georgina and James | Married

As mentioned in yesterday's post, Georgina and James have already been married for five years, but wanted to book a session to celebrate their marriage thus far.  Love it.  

I also mentioned yesterday that taking Georgina's picture in her wedding dress was effortless - made possible by her carefree spirit and gorgeous face.  Well, shooting Georgina and James together was equally as effortless.  Geoff and I drove away after the session talking about how darn easy and just how fun it was to take their picture.  The #1 reason why?  They really took our advice about trying to forget that we were taking their picture and to just focus on loving on each other.  

When Geoff and I shoot a couple together - married or not - 90% of the "poses" we have them do involve cuddling with each other.  To be frank, if you don't particularly care for cuddling, you're not particularly going to enjoy a session with The Schultzes.  Just sayin'.  

And let me tell you - Georgina and James were champion cuddlers...even amidst the ridiculous heat.  

Congratulations you two on five years.....we truly enjoyed our time together with you guys and hope to see you again soon!
