Well, friends.....year 28 of my life has come and gone. On Easter Sunday, I turned 29. How in the world did this happen? Most days, it seems like I should only be 22 or something.
Anyway, my 29th birthday was pretty darn good fantastic...in fact, I'd say it was my most favorite birthday yet....all thanks to Geoff. What a great, GREAT, thoughtful, loving, self-sacrificing, creative husband I have.
He sent me to bed early the night before so he could stay up until the wee hours of the morning prepping for our day together. And when I woke up, I was greeted with this....
Remember the old school "choose your own adventure" books? Geoff made me one of my own that would determine the direction of our day depending on the page I chose to turn to next. So fun, right?!
Our day consisted of breakfast (bacon!) in bed while watching LOST, a trip to the park for a walk and some ice cream, driving out to Monroe to go antiquing, dinner at at my favorite restaurant - Firebirds. We brought along the camera to document our day of fun. :)
Some of us had a harder time than others getting up and going in the morning....
Yes, we took some pics with the self timer - nerds.
Throughout the day, Geoff surprised me with little gifts - one of them....adorable earrings he picked out from Urban Outfitters. *love*

And as with any great antique store - there were some real weird finds....

You might be nerds, but you are adorable nerds. Happy birthday Cheyenne. What a wonderful and very well thought out gift. I think Geoff should sport the "cat" look a little more often :)

(04.14.10 @ 09:46 PM)Geminis are romantics by nature. Geoff has been entertaining since birth. Geoff has been trained to be a peacemaker. Geoff has a lot of energy. Cheyenne and Geoff are a cute couple and enjoy and share eachother's passion for art, their faith and laughing together. It is all refreshing for us to observe. I think they have a few books they can write and share with the world in the making.

Jay & Brandi Rabon are good friends of ours & also Monica Reid is an old friend from high school... so somehow between the 2 of them I have stumbled onto your blog. Congrats on the baby. I was sick as a dog with all 3 of my kiddos. Wish I had the fortune of being one of those lucky ones who loved being pregnant. Despised it all 3 times... got worse with each one. However, when you hold that beautiful baby, you forget all about the sickness & pain & think about the wonderful gift God has given you.
