The wedding date.

Mason jars.....just had to. :)

Couldn't resist having a little fun with some random, old hats.

We finished things off in a nearby field....so glad we caught the last bit of sun before it sunk completely.

These are great! We have been watching the revival. I can’t help but get all teary every time I watch the baptisms. The BW shot of the girl coming up out of the water is perfect. Love what God is doing!
(01.18.12 @ 02:44 PM)These are great Cheyenne! I was at the Matthews campus last night as well and love how you captured the night. I've been following your blog for quite awhile now and am so thankful for photographers like you who I can learn and gain inspiration from.
Love your photos and love your heart!
(01.18.12 @ 02:45 PM)Tears. WOW! Wonderful storytelling...actually GORGEOUS storytelling. xo
(01.18.12 @ 02:46 PM)thanks, you three! Melissa - let me know if you are ever interested in joining the photography team at the church! :) xoxo
(01.18.12 @ 04:29 PM)Awesome! I wish I had photographed last night! Dang. How appropriate with the rain & the baptisms. What is that in image one? Water droplets? Nice shot!
(01.18.12 @ 05:03 PM)Thanks, Hayley. :) The first shot is actually of the rain outside - I just shot into the light in the parking lot and cropped it.
xoxo.
(01.18.12 @ 05:05 PM)I respect your God given talent. The 4th picture is of me. I was wondering if it was ok for me to copy it or if you could send it to me so I could have it framed? Thank you for capturing that shot though!!!
(01.18.12 @ 11:27 PM)absolutely, keegan! I just sent over the image to you via email. :)
(01.19.12 @ 01:33 PM)As always, I love seeing how you see life thru a camera lens!! It's gives me ideas to improve my learning in capturing amazing pictures!! I saw you taking pictures at Matthews, and I was excited to see you posted some pictures! :) keep up the good work!

How fun that Nancy and Will Ray will be coming to Charlotte for a visit! I just wanted to share that you and Nancy are two of my favorite bloggers to follow. Thanks so much for the constant inspiration to be a stonger Christian, stronger woman, and to discern my gifts and talents so that I might share them with others. Congrats on shooting another beautiful wedding!
(01.17.12 @ 11:44 AM)Boone and Stevie need to have a play date at Monkey Joe's soon! I think we will be making that a weekly outing!
(01.17.12 @ 12:02 PM)dan - we were saying the same thing! it's so cheap too!
(01.17.12 @ 12:04 PM)I WANNA SEE NANCY!
(01.17.12 @ 06:45 PM)I am so glad that I am not the only person who has to warn my guests about dog hair! It's a never ending battle at my house- I don't think I've had an outfit in the last almost 6 years that was accessorized with at least a lil' bit of dog hair! :)
Hey Cheyenne, love your site! Your shots are so creative and professional, thanks so much for sharing them on here so regularly. I'm trying to grow more as a photographer here in New Zealand and it's a real inspiration seeing the kind of photos I'd love to take one day! Thanks again.
(01.17.12 @ 11:53 PM)Cherrios is my breakie of choice too :) And the 20 min of PS ... totally worth it !!! What a stunning image.

LOVE number 3, as the colors seem to blend with your furniture, lighting and decor better than the others (in my mind), but if you are going for a splash of color - than # 2 is the way to go!
(01.16.12 @ 01:05 PM)I vote for #2 :)
Oh! All so beautiful! My favorite is #1, followed by Option # 3. Congratulations on the new studio!!
(01.16.12 @ 01:05 PM)I love #2 - the tree adds a lot of color and a natural element. It shows your range much more - from modern/urban to a more rustic/country look. You do it all - so I think you should show it all! :) Best of luck on this exciting new venture!!
(01.16.12 @ 01:05 PM)Number 2! LOVE the color and depth they add to the room :-)
(01.16.12 @ 01:06 PM)Im loving no. 3. That mix has a good range of moods, colors, and formal to informalness...
(01.16.12 @ 01:09 PM)#3
Good luck on the new studio space!
# 2 for sure!!
(01.16.12 @ 01:11 PM)i love the color tie-ins in #2!
(01.16.12 @ 01:15 PM)numero dos ... #2
(01.16.12 @ 01:17 PM)#3!! Though really like the last image in #1! Best of luck with your new studio!!
(01.16.12 @ 01:18 PM)They are all fabulous but I would have to say my favorite is #3! Love the look of your new studio :-D
(01.16.12 @ 01:18 PM)Out of these 3 as they sit. #1 looks the prettiest and they meld together in the space the nicest, IMO! That said, if you replaced the 1st pic in #3 and added something with darker tones....that would look super nice too. I think the darker pics are a nice contrast with the walls and furniture.
(01.16.12 @ 01:20 PM)Love #3!!! :)
(01.16.12 @ 01:21 PM)I love #2! Great variety and range of colors.
(01.16.12 @ 01:23 PM)#1 for the lightness and it's "pretty", #2 shows a good range of your work...I dont like #3 (though they are georgous photos) it seems a big heavy on the right.IMHO. ;)
(01.16.12 @ 01:25 PM)Love them all. But definitely love #3 the most!
(01.16.12 @ 01:26 PM)I LOVE #3!!!!! They are all awesome but 3 is my fave! Xoxo
(01.16.12 @ 01:28 PM)Def #1
(01.16.12 @ 01:30 PM)I vote 3 :)
(01.16.12 @ 01:30 PM)# 1!
(01.16.12 @ 01:36 PM)number two.
(01.16.12 @ 01:42 PM)#3, definitely!
(01.16.12 @ 01:54 PM)I think I like 3 :) but maybe switch the vertical on the right (barn) with vertical on the right from the first option (clouds) . OR maybe you can lighten the one with the barn so its not so dark? On option 3, the left side is lighter while the right side is darker. Need some contrast on the right side!
(01.16.12 @ 01:57 PM)#3, I LOVE #3. The space looks super, and I think I want to spend the rest of my life on that couch!
(01.16.12 @ 02:02 PM)I like number one, because the colors have the most natural flow.
#3 fo sho. Even though image 1 from #2 is my favorite, 3 looks best as a whole.
NUMBER 3. The 'Library' photo is hot!
(01.16.12 @ 02:22 PM)#3
(01.16.12 @ 02:24 PM)#3 :) Love the colors
(01.16.12 @ 02:25 PM)I love #1! I think it just flows from left to right, how the eye naturally goes and no color is jarring. Each side has complimentary colors so your eye isn't immediately drawn to one side but rather the whole wall. Beautiful! I can't wait to see more of the space.
(01.16.12 @ 02:33 PM)I see a lot of 2's and 3's in the comments...but I think #1 shows of your style best, with the negative space, and the dreamy sunlight :)))
(01.16.12 @ 02:33 PM)Favourite choice would be #2 cause the tree colours gives so much life. Followed closely by #3. All gorgeous pictures!!
#2! I love the variety and nature and closeness in them.
(01.16.12 @ 03:04 PM)Number two is absolutely gorgeous! The trees and the dreamy light photos look great together :)
(01.16.12 @ 03:05 PM)#1 then #3. Looks like this vote will be a close one!
(01.16.12 @ 03:13 PM)Obviously they are all beautiful. And I may like certain pictures in sets two and three better,
BUT,
set one looks like a concentration in art school, or a display piece in an art gallery. The four images are not just gorgeous on their own but they also just look SO sharp and inspiring as a set! Plus, it looks like your company, your brand. The first one seems the most "The Schultzes" to me. But that's just me ;)
(01.16.12 @ 03:16 PM)I like #1 as a set the best. But I have to say I LOVE the tree in the second set. It is glorious.
(01.16.12 @ 03:28 PM)#2 - all of the images stand out well together.
Also, those heart pillows on the couch...ADORABLE.
#2 flows so well and really shows off your style. I love all of the choices, though. You can't go wrong which ever way you choose. Looks like such a cozy studio!
(01.16.12 @ 04:10 PM)1 or 3 but like the way the colors flow in 1!
(01.16.12 @ 04:11 PM)#2, all the way!!!
(01.16.12 @ 04:21 PM)Numero Uno, however I do love the pop of those yellow pants on numero dos...
(01.16.12 @ 04:25 PM)I vote #2!
(01.16.12 @ 05:09 PM)I LOVE # 3 - it is gorgeous! Look forward to seeing the end result and a virtual tour of the new studio.
(01.16.12 @ 05:19 PM)Three is my favorite...Looking forward to the full tour...
(01.16.12 @ 05:50 PM)#3!
(01.16.12 @ 06:10 PM)3!! it looks great, girl! xx
Love them all... But obsessed with the tree pictures.. Adds a great pop of color and it shows your diverse:) Good luck!!! Can't wait to check out the studio.. Definitely want to be invited to grand opening...
#3 for me
(01.16.12 @ 07:03 PM)I vote #1 definitely. The colors match so well!
(01.16.12 @ 08:24 PM)#3 because our opinion matters most. :) Seriously, #3 because the colors in those photos blend well in the space. #1 would be our second choice. The tree photo in #2 is gorgeous, but it sticks out like a sore thumb in the layout. Loves and good luck! So proud of y'all.
(01.16.12 @ 08:46 PM)I like #1 because it seems the most visually balanced w/ the photographs. Overall, very nice and enjoy each one so you'll be a winner no matter what!
(01.16.12 @ 09:01 PM)#2 or #3!
(01.16.12 @ 09:28 PM)# 3!!!! I think it shows the best range. You've got color, you've got texture, you've got intimacy, you've got open spaces. I think it best shows the variety, your range, and how you like to play with light, texture, space, etc. while also highlighting each individual's personality.
(01.16.12 @ 10:06 PM)#1 matches your whimsical look you are trying to swing to your business. But they are all nice :)
(01.16.12 @ 11:18 PM)#3 is my favorite!!
(01.17.12 @ 12:17 AM)Definitely #2, followed by #1. I felt the strongest emotions tied to it, such a beautiful way to bring in the outdoors. #1 is nice, but softer and does feel the most symmetrically balanced. #3 feels a little dark heavy on the right side's arrangement. But whatever you select, it will undoubtedly look stunning :) Thanks again for today, Cheyenne!!
(01.17.12 @ 01:12 AM)#2!
(01.17.12 @ 02:05 AM)#1 Its current and all four coordinate beautifully. When I think of your work, I always think of how sunny, natural and easy it is. I think these show that well. I can imagine how hard it must be for you to pick between your shots when everything you do is so good :)
(01.17.12 @ 02:26 AM)#2!
(01.17.12 @ 03:24 AM)All layouts are beautiful but I Love #2!! Congrats on the new studio!
(01.17.12 @ 09:38 AM)Well, I think they are all great. I cant decide! (maybe #1?) But what I can decide on is the fact that I want to lay on that couch and talk to you and drink Starbees all day long. I LOVE your office space-- so welcoming, so homey, and so comfortable! This is so great!
(01.17.12 @ 09:50 AM)#2! Love me some trees. Followed closely by #3! AND HOLY MOLY that's a lotta comments. :) Love the space! Lucky duck! SO exciting.
(01.17.12 @ 10:09 AM)#3!
(01.17.12 @ 10:11 AM)I say #1 or 3... but I am totally drawn to #1. They are all great! Good luck with your studio... very fun times!
(01.17.12 @ 11:04 AM)I am a fan of # 3 especially for a studio because i think on either side of the window it shows two different styles you are able to achieve. Your work can be light and whimsical like the left but also very rich in color like the right side! Good luck, it looks beautiful!
(01.17.12 @ 12:35 PM)#2!
CW&E votes #3
(01.17.12 @ 01:07 PM)#2. the shot with the trees is gorg! you need a greenery shot for sure!
(01.17.12 @ 01:35 PM)I vote #1. It fills the space, gels well and is just so lovely! I couldn't stop looking at it!
(01.17.12 @ 02:50 PM)#3 IS MY FAVORITE!
(01.17.12 @ 03:26 PM)#3!
(01.18.12 @ 07:30 AM)Number 3 is my favorite but any of the picks would look great! Quick question...would you mind telling the source of where you found your coffee table? LOVE it!
(01.18.12 @ 09:20 AM)I vote for #1! The colors look great!
(01.18.12 @ 09:30 AM)#2! Congrats on the new space. :)
(01.18.12 @ 11:52 AM)Three! I love the flow and feel of the images with your office decor
(01.18.12 @ 01:15 PM)I am torn between #1 and #3. Both will look great in your studio! You have a cute space that feels comfy!
You may have already decided, but me and Hannah like either option 1 or 3 :)
#1 I like the balance of colors and shapes
(01.30.12 @ 01:37 PM)
wow.wow.wow
(01.24.12 @ 10:26 AM)mmm mmm those outdoor shots are to die for
(01.24.12 @ 01:25 PM)Thank you, thank you, thank you!! Y'all are the best!!!
(01.24.12 @ 11:44 PM)Beautiful Pictures!
(01.26.12 @ 09:51 AM)
