Hi friends!  I hope this Thursday finds you well and keeping cool.  :)  Seems like the humidity has officially kicked in here in the Carolina's.  Bleh.  Anyway, some fun news to share today. :)

This August we will be speaking at the Wedding Photographic Society Convention in Raleigh, NC.  It is a real honor and privilege to be asked to speak, but I can't help but feel a little bit nervous and unqualified!  Mostly, though, we are excited.  :)

This photobooth....ohhhhhhhhh, this photobooth.  

One word.  Cheerleaders.  

We had cheerleaders in the bridal party.  Which meant they would attempt full on stunts and very impressive jumping.  I thought for SURE our backdrop was going to fall to the ground on this wedding.  

I loved these people.  So very fun.

Courtney and Rich - Mint Museum Wedding | Weddings

Call me crazy, but when I see or even HEAR about the color blush...my heart races.  I don't know why...I just have a mild obsession with the color.  Now, put wedding dress in a shade of blush in front of me...forget about it.  Courtney's wedding dress....it. was. amazing.  Yes, it was.  I may have overdone it on pictures of her in it.  :)

I just loved the simplicity of this wedding - truly, a beautiful day with a beautiful couple.  I've convinced that just being around Courtney and Rich make you feel like a better, nicer person...these two are exceptionally nice...you can't help for it to rub off on you.  And let me tell you - this was such a relaxing and stress-free day...it was one of those weddings I felt like I was just along for the ride.  Just felt super calm and in the moment.  I love days like this one was.  

Courtney and Rich - you two are such special people.  Geoff and I wish you SO much happiness for your future together.  xoxo.
